1000 of the readers in Bulgaria were fakes
There are nearly 3,500 registered community centers in Bulgaria, about 1,000 of them are fakes, they exist only on the basis of documents, MP Petar Milanov told journalists in Vidin in response to a question from BTA.
He added that the activities of the readers should be revised and they should be evaluated and financed on a project basis. Milanov also said that the draft budget for the year for the financing of community centers in Bulgaria is financed in the amount of 40 million euros. The new budget proposes to increase the budget of the Ministry of Culture by BGN 99 million compared to last year. and this one should be BGN 344 million, Milanov added.
