Second division club Wacker Innsbruck has found a new donor in search of a new donor. The Tyroleans presented their new partner Thomas Kienle on Friday, ending the numerous speculations of the past few weeks. Kienle is a German-born entrepreneur in the medical sector. According to the contract, the first investment sum will flow this season, with more in the coming seasons.
“The partnership is geared towards the long term and is intended to put the club on a stable financial footing. With the announcement of the partner, we hope that we can strengthen the trust of many members and fans and put an end to the media speculation that has been far too frequent recently,” the designated Wacker President Kevin Radi was quoted in a club broadcast. He has been managing a business relationship with Kienle for years, which is how the contact came about.
“Because of my proximity and connection to Tyrol, this investment at FC Wacker Innsbruck is a matter close to my heart. It is very important to me that those responsible come from Tyrol and know the club very well. I am sure that we will write a success story out of it together can,” said Kienle.
