Gers: work on the SNCF Toulouse-Auch line from February 21
Switch renewal and maintenance work will be carried out from next Monday on the Toulouse-Auch line.
From Monday 21 February until 25 February inclusive, SNCF Réseau will carry out work to renew switches on the Toulouse-Auch line, more specifically at level crossing no. 54, located on avenue de la 1re Armée Française , in Auch. This work will require the closure of the level crossing and lead to the suspension of rail and road traffic on the avenue de la 1re Armée Française. Only pedestrians will prefer to take this passage via the development of a dedicated path.
Detour routes for light and heavy vehicles will be communicated on the website www.sncf-reseau.com. The cost of this work amounts to 750,000 euros, a sum financed by the Occitanie region up to 66.5%, the State (25%) and SNCF Réseau (8.5%).
Maintenance work from February 21 to March 4
From February 21 to March 4, the SNCF is also carrying out maintenance work on all the components of the infrastructure: track, signaling and engineering structures. Some lio Train traffic between Auch and Colomiers will still be provided by coach, outside peak hours.
