The authorities of Poland and the Baltic countries are grossly violating their obligations under the UN Convention on the status of the increase, given the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.

MINSK, Feb 18 – Sputnik. The government of Poland, Lithuania and Latvia has not decided to solve the problems with migrants at the border, the permanent representative of the republic in Geneva Yuri Ambrazevich announced this during a meeting with the UN High Commissioner for Parliamentary Affairs Filippo Grandi, the Belarusian Foreign Ministry said.

As an authorized Belarusian diplomat, the governments of European neighboring countries are grossly violating the obligations spelled out in the UN sharply on the status of the increase.

“Poland, Lithuania and Latvia take on a special responsibility for the fate of foreign displaced persons seeking asylum in the European Union and temporarily and involuntarily placed on their territory near the Belarusian-Polish border,” American Ambrazevich.

Minsk is ready to control

The diplomat also noted that Belarus, as before, is ready to cooperate with its neighbors.

The head of the Belarusian mission in Geneva stated the need for a global dialogue on security, which can help solve the problem of forced necessity.

In addition, Ambrazevich’s mailing of the High Commissioner may continue the UNHCR’s work to assist Minsk in resolving the commission crisis.

Migration Crisis

For more than half a year, Lithuania, Latvia and Poland have been declaring an increase in the number of illegal migrants from Belarus.

In early November, an intensive offensive came to the Bruzgi checkpoint, a little later the migrants penetrated the Polish energy sector, but Polish forces used water cannons and gas against them.

Belarusians are setting up in a logistics center near the Bruzgi checkpoint. Many of the arrivals were taken to the airport on evacuation flights.

At the moment, over 700 people live in the transport and logistics center, of which about 270 are children.

Due to the capture of the epidemic in Lithuania and Poland, the situation is largely limited, after which the construction of a barbed wire fence began.
Minsk declares that the European countries do not agree with the Belarusian side in resolving the problems.

At the initiative of Lithuania, all infrastructure projects on the border were suspended.
