Tenerife Sur – Pisa, an odyssey: a lucche unleashes sale on the plane and … all the hell
Moments of tension at high altitudes: an Italian citizen gets on an airplane drunk, without a mask and claustrophobic. This is what happened in the late afternoon of yesterday at Tenerife Sur airport just before take off for Pisa.
Alexander – this is the name of the young man who lost control of himself for four and a half hours of flight – he lives in Lucca, but is originally from Naples. As soon as he got on the plane he began to insistently ask the flight attendants for beer who, noticing his attitude, his attitude, denied it to him. At 6:20 pm, time for take-off, the young man began to fidget and the hostes, given his condition, tried to calm him down and make him feel comfortable. But the man, taken by the agitation, started banging his fists on the seat and pulled 20 euros out of his pockets. He stood up – even though at that precise moment the captain was announcing the departure – to ask the passengers if someone could buy him a drink.
“I can’t dare to drink beer – said the flight attendant Debora – When you arrive at the Pisa airport, you buy everything you want. Now take off and try to stay calm. If you don’t stop, I’ll call the police”.
A policeman was traveling on the flight and kept an eye on them for the entire duration of the route Alexander asking him why he took the plane if he was claustrophobic. Sitting next to Alexander a certain Rosario, also a native of Naples who reassured him unnecessarily.
“If you continue like this we are forced to go back and leave you at the airport of Tenerife – the policeman said clearly using calm tones and armed with patience -. Do you want to sit next to me?”
While the airline flies over Africa, the situation got out of hand for the young man from Lucca. He began to offend all the crew, starting with the hostes using colorful expressions because no one had brought him what he asked for, which was the beer. He got up as if to go to the bathroom always under the watchful eye of the policeman to check that he didn’t smoke cigarettes.
Two and a half hours after landing, the young man – who was wearing a white overalls and sports shoes as well as not wearing the mask that the crew provided him at a later time – had dinner and was momentarily calm even if shortly afterwards he simulated panic attacks.
“We recognize who suffers from these disorders – one of the three hostesses told him – You are fine, you have nothing”. Despite this Alessandro lay down on the floor and started screaming that he was out of air, panicked and that he was sick. Then again the heavy offenses and “give me a beer, I’m a customer”, “I’ll put a bad review”.
Arriving in Pisa after a troubled journey amidst shouts, turbulence and offenses of all kinds, the young man got out, calmed down and left without being stopped by the police as one might imagine. The week before, still on the same route, that is Pisa – Tenerife Sur, a similar episode had occurred with a drunk woman. As soon as they landed on the island she was immediately stopped by the ‘policia local’.
