Toulouse. Two shows at the theater to end the weekend
This Sunday, February 13 from 4 p.m., two theater performances are offered at the Saint-Simon cultural center and at the Théâtre du Pavé in Toulouse. Rather humor or love of cooking?
The weekend is soon coming to an end. But before heading back to work or school, why not enjoy a short break at the theatre? With family, friends or simply alone, two shows are offered this Sunday, February 13, 2022 in Toulouse.
A bit of humor at the Saint-Simon cultural center
The Saint-Simon cultural center presents “Rosmonde, the show”. Humor is at the center of this play which revolves around the character of Rosemonde. The agenda of the pink city allows you to discover a trailer of the play:
“Here before your eyes, Rosemonde is going to take risks, real ones… Fear, emotion, argument… How to postpone the fateful moment? No more time for these antics… You have to get started!!! Rosemonde is a sort of clownish solo, but above all it’s a moment of life… hilarious! It’s inflated, exaggerated…just extravagant! This spectacle cannot be watched; he lives!”
The play features Julie Font in the role of Rosemonde and Benjamins de Matteis directing. It starts at 4 p.m. at the Saint-Simon cultural center, at 10 chemin de Liffard in Toulouse. The normal price is 9 euros. More information on the town hall calendar.
Marguerite Duras at the Pavé Theater
On the side of the Théâtre du Pavé, it’s a whole different genre on offer. After three performances, “La cuisine de Marguerite” closes its dates this Sunday at 4 p.m. The piece tells the story of love and “shared happiness” of Marguerite Duras and cooking. As we can read on the site of the town hall of Toulouse: “The story of a simple but intense pleasure which had a privileged place in the daily life of his life”. The summary of the play is also available in the city’s agenda:
“She liked to cook and readily affirmed it, it came to her from her mother. Cooking, for her, was above all a way of giving love; to her friends in particular, for whom Marguerite concocted dishes and invented recipes, in silence, alone in her large building in Neauphle-le-Château”.
The show starts at 4 p.m. in the main hall of the Théâtre du Pavé, at 34 rue Maran in Toulouse. Accessible from 12 years old, the piece lasts 1h15. Prices vary from 4 to 18 euros. More information on the Toulouse diary.
