Genoa, continue the abandoned dogs, on the Fasce found tied to a female without a microchip
Genoa – He risked dying of cold tied to a pole with his leash, probably abandoned by the owner.
A specimen of Cane Corso, an elderly female without a microchip, was found by chance by a motorist on Friday evening on Mount Fasce.
The animal had been tied to a pole with a leash and there was no one around.
The passing motorist loaded it into the car and handed it over to the volunteers of the Monte Contessa kennel who published a notice on their Facebook page, hoping that the owner would come forward and that the story could have a different explanation than what it seems.
Otherwise, the report for abandonment will be triggered and the owner, if identified, risks a conviction for mistreatment of animals.
From the kennel of Monte Contessa, the volunteers of the Una association confirm that there is an increase in abandonment and in particular of pittbull dogs that are purchased without taking into account needs, size and nature and that, if not properly educated , becomes a source of problems.
Nothing that cannot be solved with a dog-master course but that alarms volunteers as this breed is increasingly “in fashion”.
During the day another dog was found in via Montebruno in Marassi. The animal, without a microchip, wandered confused among the cars and was recovered by a passer-by who then entrusted it to the care of the volunteers of the kennel.
Even the puppy looks for the owner or someone who wants to adopt him.
