With “Ingo” the next extensive high pressure area from the west makes itself felt on Saturday and brings extremely calm weather again. The high will move across the Alps to Eastern Europe over the weekend. On Monday, the weakening cold front of an Atlantic low will cross Austria. An Italian low will only bring precipitation to the south again on Tuesday.

In the west, extensive but harmless veil clouds appear in the course of the day. The southerly foehn is picking up and becoming stronger in places in predestined valleys such as the Wipptal, with a brisk south-east wind blowing in the east. Depending on the sun and the hair dryer, the maximum values are between 3 and 13 degrees.
Am Tuesday light rain spreads from the west to Carinthia, Upper Styria and Upper Austria, above 900 to 1,200 meters it snows infrequently. Further to the east it mostly stays dry and the sun shines especially from eastern Styria to the Weinviertel, even in the far west it starts to loosen up again in the afternoon. The wind turns west and blows moderately in the Danube region, sometimes briskly on the eastern edge of the Alps. From northwest to southeast, the maximum values are between 3 and 12 degrees.
