Super League: Derby in Rizoupoli and Tripoli

Sugar Mizzy February 12, 2022

The big derby between Olympiakos and AEK, dominates the program of the 23rd game of the Super League. At home for PAOK and Panathinaikos, against Atromitos and Lamia, respectively.

Olympiakos, which is waiting for AEK in “Georgios Karaiskakis”, wants to maintain or even increase the difference from its pursuers. The “red and whites”, who remain undefeated in the league, come from the difficult qualification against Panetolikos in the Cup, while they also have in mind the upcoming match with Atalanta for the PlayOff of the Europa League. On the contrary, “Dikefalos”, after the dramatic exclusion from PAOK, was left with virtually no goal for the rest of the season and will play with the aim of breaking the unfavorable tradition it has in recent years against (and) against Piraeus.

Panathinaikos is waiting on Lamia Avenue, with the two teams warming up in view of the matches between them for the semifinals of the Cup. The club from Fthiotida was defeated last Thursday by Atromitos, which in turn goes to Toumba to face the reborn last two months PAOK that completed 13 matches in this period. The Thessalonians have, however, not thinking about the matches with Midland for the PlayOff of the Conference League.

This mustwin game for the tail of Apollon Smyrnis that welcomes in Rizoupoli the disappointed – from the way he was excluded from the Cup – Panathinaikos while Asteras Tripolis has the opportunity to take another step towards the Play Offs as it hosts Ionikos. Criticism in the battle of the six will be the game in Heraklion, with OFI competing with Volos and, even more, what completes the 23rd game in “Zosimades”, as PAS Giannina faces Aris.

Detailed program of the 23rd game of the Super League:
