PFor travelers entering Belgian territory, the color code of the country of origin is no longer taken into consideration. People who do not have their main residence in Belgium and who arrive in our country from countries of the European Union or the Schengen area or from third countries must now have a certificate of vaccination, test or valid reinstatement.
The regulations relating to very high-risk areas and essential and non-essential travel remain applicable, however, as does the 48-hour rule and exceptions for certain categories of travelers such as carriers and border workers.
The vaccination certificate is valid for 270 days in the case of a primary vaccination and unlimited validity in the case of a booster vaccination.
The test certificate will be valid for 24 hours for a rapid antigen test (RAT). Only RATs approved at European level will be accepted. PCR tests are valid for 72 hours.
