Bianca den Elsen new managing partner of Valcon in the Netherlands
Consultancy firm Valcon has appointed Bianca den Elsen as Managing Partner for the Netherlands as of March 1, 2022.
Bianca den Elsen, 46, will take over from Geert van den Goor, who led the Dutch practice for about ten years and will now focus on Valcon’s international growth.
Valcon originated as a combination of First Consulting, Viqtor Davis and Valcon, recently P2 Consulting and Typeqast also joined the group. The agency has 1,250 employees in Europe, including approximately 580 advisors in our country.
Den Elsen has over 20+ years of experience in consultancy and also extensive experience in managerial roles. From 2015 she was a partner at Deloitte Consulting where she was part of the Consulting Leadership team. From 2019 she was also part of the Executive Committee of Deloitte, responsible for Clients & Industries.
Den Elsen worked for Accenture for over sixteen years – during this period she got to know Van den Goor. “When Geert sent me a message that he was looking for a Managing Partner for Valcon Netherlands and my name was mentioned, I was immediately positively triggered.”
“I know quite a few people who work at Valcon (formerly First Consulting) and heard good stories about the culture and growth of the company. After a number of discussions with Geert and partners, I have no doubt said yes to this great challenge.”
“Valcon’s values, the people, the diversity of customers, the growth ambition, the strategy and the breadth of service from strategy to operations and from boardroom to the shop floor, appeal to me enormously. I expect and hope that with my experience I can contribute to the sustainable growth of Valcon both in the Netherlands and internationally.”
Van den Goor: ‘I still did bianca from our composite accenture time, where we also have together. With great interest I have her career, with our paths crossing occasionally. In addition to the substantive baggage she brings, I am also convinced that she is very good at no-nonsense culture, something that is crucial for us. I am very much looking forward to our collaboration.”
