Very right | Should English become an official language in Brussels?
Language has always been a thorny issue in Brussels – officially a bilingual, but in practice a multilingual region. Brussels is the most cosmopolitan city in the world after Dubai. English is on the rise: young people already speak better English than the second national language. Should we embrace English and suddenly officialize it? Or do we threaten to bury the Dutch language in Brussels altogether?
We at DS podcast like to engage in public debate by letting two editors loose on the subject. Jan-Frederik Abbeloos and Lisa De Bode of the political editors of the official file in Brussels. Without taboos. Without taboo. Without taboos.
