Charlène of Monaco, respiratory depression, coma, this drug at the origin of her ailments
Charlene of Monaco’s current health problems may be partly linked to the adverse effects of a cocktail of drugs, to which she has been addicted for nine years.
Treated in a specialized clinic in Zurich, the mother of Jacques and Gabriella would be dependent for nine years on a dangerous cocktail of sleeping pills, Stilnox, Imovane, and derivatives of Carfentanil.
“It all started with painkillers to heal an old wound. And then over time, because she couldn’t sleep, she fell into a vicious circle, ”reported the magazine Here last November.
Stilnox is a fairly strong pain reliever that can cause difficulty in breathing (respiratory depression), coma and can be life threatening.
“The increase in anxiety, agitation, aggressiveness, confusion of ideas, anterograde amnesia hallucinations”, is also one of the side effects of this drug mentioned by the magazine Here.
This dependency of Charlene of Monaco would be coupled with ENT problems, which she would have on a recurring basis. She also suffered from eating disorders.
In an interview with the magazine Vanity Fair, Charlène of Monaco evoked a very old injury that she had made during her childhood. Jacques and Gabriella’s mother took themselves for Zorro.
“One day – I was 7 years old – I was riding around with my idol’s black coat and fake sword when I fell and broke my arm in six places. For muscle rehabilitation, I signed up for a swimming lesson,” she confided.
The wife of Prince Albert of Monaco had also injured her shoulder during her years as a swimming champion.
