“Newsweek Polska” correction of the Book Institute
In the 33rd issue of the “Newswe Polska” weekly, on August 10, 2020, the material by Cezary “Hunting for sinners” was published, telling about the cancellation of culture. The Book Institute sent it to them, then they introduced the chief editor of the requested title to replace the fragments of the parts that had been introduced in their place, and introduced the nomenclature and introduced. Tomasz Lis’ attorney informed about the refusal to make the correction due to formal errors. The Book Institute took it to court.

On Friday, February 4, the Court of Appeal in Warsaw, after hearing the case brought by the Book Institute, dismissed the appeal by the editor-in-chief of Newsweek Polska and ordered the return of legal representation to IK. In the oral grounds, the court’s decision that it had been brought by the post-appeal was not justified. The Court of Appeal fully shared the findings and the opinion of the first-line court.
