During the 20th day of National, Laval, the provisional leader, sounded confirmed by winning against FC Bastia-Borgo (1-0). Annecy chained him a third consecutive match without knowing the victory, on the lawn of Boulogne (1-1).
Laval’s sixth consecutive victory in the Championship was obtained on the minimum margin, against Bastia-Borgo (1-0). Thanks to an achievement by Jimmy Roye from the 4th minute of play, Olivier Frapolli’s players won and were able to confirm, at least provisionally, the rank of leader in this 2021-2022 financial year.. Provisional because although they have 41 points in the standings, they could see Concarneau take the lead. For that, the current second will have to win against Villefranche, this Monday evening at the conclusion of the 20th day.
Annecy, third, lost ground in the top places. Laurent Guyot’s players could not stem their current bad momentum during the opposition against Boulogne away (1-1). However, things had taken the right direction because of Kevin Testud’s opener in the 12th minute. The stoppage was rude with the late equalizer of the premises in the 86th, work of Formose Mendy. It is therefore the third consecutive match without a win for Annecy. Bourg-en-Bresse was able to chain a second consecutive success against Avranches at home (2-0), with goals from Jeffrey Quarshie (22nd) and Benjamin Corgnet (35th). This success allows you to gain a rank in the standings, to fourth place.
While no away victory took place while waiting for the last match of the day, Châteauroux, against Créteil (4-1) and Sedan, against Cholet (3-1) were able to win at home. . Habib Beye’s Red Star was held in check at Stade Bauer by Saint-Brieuc (1-1). After Ahmad Allée (18th) opened the scoring, Pape Maïssa Ba (70th) offered the point of draw to the locals, thirteenth in the standings.
