Cross-country skiing at the 2022 Winter Olympics: Sexual problems during the women’s skiathlon
Julia Stupak stood in front of the public stadium with journalists in the mixed zone on the ski track and could hardly hold back her tears. We asked her questions, she hardly used it, but found the strength to communicate.
When the skier went under the stands, a question suddenly sounded in broken English: “Who is this? From what country is she?” It was very strange, because not even all Russian (and not only) journalists received a pass to the mixed zone, but instead of them, people who had nothing to do with cross-country skiing suffered there.
“It can’t get any worse.” Russian location wants to move closer after Olympics failure
“15 minutes before the race we allow the pass”
How to get into the mixed zone at the Olympics? It is necessary to enter your name, country, accreditation letter in the plate, edition, which is located on the help desk. Further, out of the entire mass of those who applied for a sample at random, 38 people are exactly the same number of places in the mixed zone for the writing press.
FIS – International Ski Federation. How exactly its representatives select journalists for the mix zone is unclear. Nobody knows anything. And it is unlikely that this happens only in cross-country skiing.
The pass is expected to be stuck on the accreditation 15 minutes before the start of the women’s skiathlon.
“Yes, in these 15 minutes before the start of the race, we will stick a green pass to the mixed zone on your accreditation,” promised the girls who pay for the issuance of the majority of the Press Mixed Zone Pass.
“Is there anybody from Russia? You are Russian?”
15 minutes before the start, of course, no one had passes.
But a crowd of journalists gathered near the helpdesk and found out what was going on.
It was impossible to understand anything. There was some kind of mess going on. And there is only one answer – FIS decides everything.
The race has started. It was possible to go to the press stand to watch the battle of Natasha Nepryaeva for the Olympic medal, but not to the mixed doubles.
“She was furious because of Nepryaeva.” Swedish media saw Frida’s conflict with a Russian skier
The first circle, the second, the third – out of four. And only then did the movement begin. Perhaps the FIS is considering who claims to be medals, and have decided who can go to the mixed zone, and who can’t. Everyone is confused.
Whoever saw his last name on the list – you just watched if there was a jackdaw nearby, passes the pass and went to the mixed zone.
This went on for about 5-7 minutes, after which the volunteers simply began to ask: “Who is from Russia, come here. You are Russian?” I went. Showed accreditation. Found the name on the list. Check mark in place. I got a green pass and went to the mixed.
But not all Russian journalists received a pass. Colleague from the “Match” Sergey Lisin, not seeing a tick in front of his last name, turned around and went to the biathlon, where our four are just a battle in the mixed relay.
“And who is this, what country is she from?”
In fact, it turned out that in the end, those who didn’t need anything there at all passed in the mixed zone.
When Yuliya Stupak, completely frustrated, approached us, she was simply pouring out her soul and holding on with all her might so as not to burst into tears, several Chinese were standing nearby. Something was recorded on dictaphones, photographed.
“And who is this, what country is she from? What number did you run away with? they asked.
Guys, you just for fun there clicked yourself, athletes, talked about something with each other. And when the routes from China, built according to the results, began to pass you one by one, you didn’t even move. But for some reason they passed the mix of the VT-zone.

From above, for all this splendor – journalists and athletes who often passed by because they were very cold after observations – were watching a gentleman from the FIS without a mask.
Yes, surrounded by a bunch of people and in a closed listener’s room. There will be nothing surprising if it is he who wants to try who gets into the mixed zone and who does not need to go there.
