On Wednesday, February 2, at the end of the afternoon, shortly before 6 p.m., the police were called to boulevard de la Rocade, following the report of a car which had just caused a material accident.
The alert was given by two pedestrians crossing on a protected passage who narrowly escaped the collision with the car that had embarked. The driver hit the median strip of the ring road and then fled. Based on the description of the vehicle, the police quickly located it, boulevard du Fier, and arrested its driver.
At the wheel, the 52-year-old man does not seem in his normal state. Subjected to screening, the latter revealed a rate of 2.4 grams of alcohol per liter of blood. Placed in a sobering-up cell, the 50-year-old from Annecy decided to drive while intoxicated and put others in danger. After his custody, he was summoned to court on May 30.

Thursday, February 3 at the end of the evening, shortly before midnight, a driver traveling at high speed avenue de la Plaine, a zone 30, was checked by the police. Subjected to screening, the 24-year-old from Annecy revealed a rate of 1.30 grams of alcohol per liter of blood. Placed in sobering mood, he will be summoned on February 15 to the traffic accident and offenses brigade (BADR) of the police station.
