Ligue 1, J23: the TV program, with Lille-PSG and Monaco-Lyon
Ligue 1 returns to the lawns and our screens this weekend, with once again some nice shocks on the program. The reigning French champion, Lille, will indeed receive the undisputed Parisian leader at the end of the season, on Sunday February 6, while Lyon will go to Monaco, and a new derby will be played in Brittany, this time between Rennes and Brest. So as not to miss anything, here is the TV program, with the broadcaster and the schedule for each match.
What if this 23rd day of Ligue 1 was marked by a transfer of power? The Lille-PSG shock this Sunday evening will indeed oppose the 2020-21 French champion to the team which prances at the top of the championship, with already 11 points ahead of the second, Nice. Suffice to say that PSG seem unstoppable, but that a misstep against LOSC could, why not, revive the suspense? Before that, this great football weekend will start on Friday February 4 at 9:00 p.m. on Prime Video, via the Ligue 1 Pass, with an enticing Marseille-Angers. After the incidents of the first leg in the stands, there will be a little flavor of revenge, while OM, 3rd, have just lost their late match against Lyon (2-1), last Tuesday, and will absolutely want to bounce back . What perfectly start this new day of Ligue 1!
We continue on Saturday with from 5:00 p.m. on Prime Video a new match of fear for Saint-Étienne, last, who receives Montpellier. After a terrible disappointment (elimination against the amateurs of Bergerac) in the Coupe de France, the Greens continue their nightmarish season, but still remain on an away victory in Ligue 1, the first for a long time. We must now confirm at home for this monument in danger. At 9:00 p.m., you will have to switch to Canal+ Décalé (available as an option from SFR) to follow the superb poster between Monaco and Lyon. A shock which usually concerns the podium, but which sees this weekend confronting the 8th and the 7th. However, 3rd place is only six points behind Lyon (and seven behind Monaco), and the end of the season promises to be decisive for these two clubs with great ambitions. A match which will also be an opportunity to see Tanguy Ndombélé again with the OL jersey, the midfielder having returned on loan (with a purchase option at 65 million euros) from Tottenham.
The 23rd day of Ligue 1 continues on Sunday January 6, with the promising Lorient-Lens at 1 p.m. on Prime Video, then at 3 p.m. the traditional Multiplex, which will allow you to see and know everything about Troyes-Metz, Strasbourg-Nantes, Reims -Bordeaux and Nice-Clermont. Will the Aiglons continue their series of victories, and continue to put pressure on PSG? It will then be necessary to zap on Canal + Sport at 5:00 p.m. to follow the Breton derby Rennes-Brest, which promises to be as lively as usual, on the ground as in the stands. At kick-off, six points separate the two teams, and the club of 29 would like to play a bad all against that of 35.
Lille – PSG: the former champion against the future champion?
Final bouquet for this weekend at 9:00 p.m. on Prime Video, with one of the most beautiful posters of the season, opposing Lille, defending champion, to PSG, champion in the making. Before the start of this 23rd day, the Parisian club has indeed 11 points ahead of Nice, second, and nothing seems to be able to stop Mbappé’s teammates in France. Unless the elimination against Nice (precisely) this week in the Coupe de France, and the approach of the knockout stages of the Champions League against Real Madrid (to follow on February 15 on RMC Sport), does not begin to increase the pressure within a regular workforce on edge. As often with PSG, fate is in the hands of the players. Or rather between their feet. And normally, they know how to use it rather well…
