Football – The USBCO-Annecy match interrupted for a few minutes following the throwing of projectiles
The match between Boulogne and Annecy was interrupted around the fortieth minute, this Friday evening, after projectiles aimed at the touch referee were launched by supporters installed in the Ribéry stand.
Led 1-0 by Annecy since the 11th minute of the match, the Rouge et Noir tried to bring the score back when the match was interrupted following incidents. Shortly before the fortieth minute, N’Sikulu launched Beauvue face to face with Escales. An action interrupted by the linesman, who raised his flag to signal an offside position.
While everyone was focused on the reaction of the Boulogne players following the whistle, the assistant referee signaled to his counterpart in the center, indicating that he had just received projectiles. Impossible, from the press gallery, to see what were these objects launched from the seats of Ribéry. Still, the central referee, Anthony Ustaritz, decided to interrupt the meeting. The match finally resumed two minutes later, after a call for calm launched into the microphone by the stadium announcer.
At half-time, the USBCO is still played with a small but by his evening opponent.
