The end of the mandatory mask in the street in Toulouse, Haute-Garonne still at the top of the contaminations
The Prime Minister announced on January 20 the lifting of the wearing of a mandatory mask outdoors from February 2. Thus, by prefectural decree on February 1, the prefect of Haute-Garonne ended the obligation to wear a mask outdoors throughout the Haute-Garonne department, from midnight Tuesday February 1.
The mask always at the restaurant, in the station, at the stadium, etc.
This therefore particularly applies to downtown Toulouse, which has been subject to this obligation since 5 January. The prefecture recalls, however, that the mask is recommended in all outdoor public spaces in which social distancing is not possible, such as open-air markets or waiting files for example. As to establishments open to the public including outdoors, such as stadiums or gymnasiums, restaurants, places of worship, shops, stations, masks continue to be required.
