Christopher friend: “In Ignace Van Der Brempt we have brought a young, very talented player to Salzburg who, despite his young age, can already show a few appearances in the Champions League and the Jupiler Pro League. He has developed very well at Club Brugge in recent years and worked his way up from the juniors to the first team. The current Belgian U21 team player has excellent qualifications for our football overall and fits our profile perfectly.”
Ignace van der Brempt: “I am really looking forward to my new club. For me this is the perfect next step in my career and I am sure that I can develop very well here. I’m a player with a lot of energy, speed and a lot of aggression in duels. I also think that goes very well with the football that is played at FC Red Bull Salzburg. I’m sure I’ll need a little time to find my way around here. But I have a good feeling and want to achieve a lot.”
