At the HCP, everything is currently going according to plan. The league newcomer has been in top form since the two-and-a-half-week break in January. While you could celebrate an enormous derby victory against HCB Südtirol, two more successes against Innsbruck and Linz followed. It is exactly this momentum that the wolves want to take with them this weekend.
On Friday at 7.45 p.m., the South Tyroleans meet at home in Laibach. After the Slovenians started the season very successfully, some painful defeats followed in the last few weeks. This can also be seen in the direct duels. While the dragons were able to win the first game, the handicap managed to get revenge on St. Stephen’s Day. This is the third meeting between the two league newcomers and the fans of both teams can look forward to 60 exciting minutes.
Difficult task for HC Bozen
HCB Südtirol, on the other hand, will play two games this weekend. While Bozner meet Fehervar on Friday, the duel against Znojmo follows two days later. HCB Südtirol has also improved slightly in recent weeks and was able to win some important victories in the fight for the top 6. This weekend, on the other hand, the foxes can expect a real hit. When the puck is thrown in against Fehervar on Friday, the foxes will give everything when to be able to travel to Znojmo with three points. Although the HCB was able to win the previous duels directly against the Hungarians, the gap was always only one goal.
On Sunday the South Tyroleans meet Znojmo. This should be the lighter party this weekend. But even then, the South Tyroleans will be warned: On November 28th, Znaim outclassed the foxes 10:2 in their own stadium and the Bolzano team will certainly want to take revenge for this disgrace.
