The Ambassador of the State of Israel HE Dror Eydar, accompanied by a delegation, is now in the Republic for the development of an intense program of visits and meetings. In the late morning the Israeli Ambassador will go to the Upper Secondary School for a meeting with the students, focusing in particular on the meaning inherent in the Day of Remembrance which will be celebrated tomorrow. The Secretary of State for Education, Andrea Belluzzi, and the Dean of the Upper Secondary School, Giacomo Esposito, welcomed the High Plenipotentiary. In the afternoon, Ambassador Eydar will move to the State Hospital, welcomed by the Secretary of State for Health, Roberto Ciavatta, for a bilateral meeting and for the official donation of medical devices offered to the Republic, as a sign of friendship and solidarity. with its institutions and its citizens. The General Manager Dr. Sergio Rabini and senior managers of the San Marino health system will attend the meeting and the donation. At the time of the day, Ambassador Eydar will go to the San Marino RTV headquarters for a meeting with the company’s top management and a subsequent moment of discussion. Tomorrow morning, the Israeli Ambassador will go to Palazzo Begni for a bilateral meeting with the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Luca Beccari and his political-diplomatic delegation to deepen the issues falling within the broad and fruitful bilateral collaboration, also in light of the most recent visit to Israel by the Secretary of State himself. He will be the head of foreign policy who will then accompany the guest to the Palazzo Pubblico for the official audience granted by their Excellencies the Captains Regent, HE Francesco Mussoni and HE Giacomo Simoncini. As part of the meeting with the Heads of State, the Secretary of State Beccari will also read a message that, on the occasion of the important celebration of the Day of Remembrance, Senator Liliana Segre, an honorary citizen of the Republic, intended to send confirmation of admiration and gratitude towards the San Marino institutions. In memory of the important role played by San Marino in welcoming and protecting numerous Jews who took refuge on the Titan, he will visit it towards the Jewish Ghetto for the deposition of a commemorative crown.
