Bulgaria is the first middle country in the lower unions (EU) on sales growth of heavy vehicles over 16 tonnes for December 2021 and ranks on second place in the block when registering on medium and heavy trucks over 3.5 tons and on third in bus salesshow data on European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA).
Our country is fifth in the EU by growth in total sales of new commercial vehicles for the whole of 2021. The domestic market reported 36.2% when registering on an annual basis up to 9935 units compared to 7295 units in 2020. Bulgaria is ahead of Lithuania (+ 55.9%), Austria (+ 54.0%), Greece (+ 49.0%) and Latvia (+ 41.9%).
Through December total sales of the Bulgarian market increased by 11.2% to 685 compared to 616 a year ago, with the monthly volume shrinking the number of reports in November 820. In December, along with October, the lowest sales volumes since February were reported.
Sale of commercial vehicles in EU in 2021 it increased by 9.6% compared to the previous year to 1,880 82 units, the main half of the low base from the first year in 2020. December register in the sector reported the sixth consecutive month of contraction, recording a decline of 8.4% to 155,963 units. However, this decline in sales for December was the largest since June, when 185,573 commercial vehicles were registered.

Light commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tons
Sell from this segment in Bulgaria increase by 31.6% in 2021 to 6,659 from 5,060 in 2020. This country is not ranked fourth in the EU by Austria (+ 60.9%), Greece (+ 51.9%) and Ireland (+ 32.3%).
In recent years, sales in EU an increase of 8.5% to 1,561,425 directly 1,439,375 for 2020. Only two countries in the bloc report declines – Spain (-6%) and Germany (-0.8%).

IN EU register of heavy goods vehicles for 2021 increases by 21.2% to 240,346 units compared to 198,355 units in 2020. For December the increase was 23.5% to 20,784 units from 16,829 years earlier. In the last month of 2021, sales reported the highest volume since June.
Medium and heavy vehicles over 3.5 tons
Sell from segment to Bulgaria increased by 49.5% in 2021. to 3073 compared to 2055 for 2020. Our country is fifth in height in the block after Latvia (94.4%), Lithuania (+ 90.4%), Poland (+ 58.1%) and Estonia (56.6%).
For December register medium and heavy trucks over 3.5 tons per the Bulgarian market increased by 175.6% to 226 in the direction of 82 a year ago. Our country ranks second in growth in the EU after Greece (+ 188%).
For the whole past years of sales from the segment in EU increases by 16.8% to 289,316 units compared to 247,616 units in 2020 December registrations increased by 19.1% to 25,314 units in the direction of 31,255 units for the same month in 2020. Sales for the last month of the year reported the largest volume since June.
Buses and passenger vans
Register from the segment of the Bulgarian market for 2021. increases by 12.8% to 203 units in the direction of 180 units by 2020. Sales of new buses and minibuses in Bulgaria for December increases by 400% to 30 in the direction of 6 for the same month of the year. Our country is third largest in December in the EUovertaken by Estonia (+ 1600%) and Denmark (955.6%).
Total EU sales of buses and minibuses are increasing for 2021 by 2.8% to 29,941 directly from 29,136 in 2020.
