Portugal presents its first payment request in the amount of 1.36 million euros, under the PRR – Observer
Portugal presented this Tuesday the first payment request to the European Commission, without the scope of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), worth 1.336 million euros, after having fulfilled 38 contractors, it was announced.
“Portugal presented today [esta terça-feira] the first payment request in the amount of 1,336 million euros”, reads a note published on the website of the Mission Structure Recover Portugal, responsible for managing the PRR.
Before submitting the application, Portugal had to comply with 38 indicators contracted with the European Commission for this phase, 21 associated with reforms and 17 with investments.
According to a message sent to the media, such as thematic coverage, housing, business responses, such as the National Health Service, Housing, Responses and Responsible for CapitalSustainability, Public and Sustainable Maritime Forests, Innovation and Renewables, Social Quality of Public Finance, as well as a more efficient public administration.
In this context, it is worth noting actions such as mental health reform, the national urgent housing plan and temporary general, the anti-poverty strategy or the expenditure management regime.
The reforms associated with investments cover infrastructure, decarbonization of industry, 4.0 companies, digital school, infrastructure and renewables, sustainable bioeconomy of industry and also the National Health Service, housing, social business and capitalization and innovation.
These reforms include actions such as the user rating system for the regional model of integrated continuous care in Madeira.
The Portugal Mission Structure also highlighted the tender for hiring industrial carbonization individuals and contracting the acquisition of 6000000 computers for students and teachers.
The PRR, which runs until 2026, aims to implementing a set of reforms and investments with a view to recovering economic growth. In addition to having the objective of repairing the damage caused by Covid-19, the purpose of trying to repair this plan and still generating Covid-19.
The total endowment of the PRR exceeds the systems 16,600 million euros.
