Macedo wins for the Portuguese Championship
After 13 rounds, Clube Atlético de Macedo de Cavaleiros won, this Sunday, the first and much-desired victory and by expressive numbers, 1-4 at Berço SC.
It was the first time that the game was maced just once more the formation of a goal in one time. In fact, at Berço SC, the team coached by José Carlos Afonso scored as many goals ahead (4) as they had scored in 12 rounds.
The draw against SC Vila Real, in the previous round, seems to have had an effect on motivational terrestrials and launched the team for a good winning exhibition, this time, with the victory.
Pedro Miguel unlocked the game close to half-time, in the 39th minute. The 23-year-old midfielder paved the way for victory and launched the team to the rout.

A feeling of satisfaction shown by the coach, José Carlos Afonso, reflects well the group’s state of mind after the categorical triumph. “We’re very happy with the victory, we’ve needed a result for a long time, but it’s just a game. We have, we have, to solidify this way of playing, then, second phase, to guarantee, two series of games behind us and we will guarantee the maintenance”.
Macedo now has five points, but remains at the bottom of the table. On the next round, scheduled for Saturday, the 29th, Macedo plays away from FC Santa Marta, which today lost 1-0 against SC Vila Real.
