TULFES are an animal species. A new recycling center in the west end of Innsbruck has been discussed for a long time. The new recycling center in Tulfes/Rinn recently aroused the interest of several Innsbruck municipal councils.
Several Innsbruck councilors and Deputy Mayor Markus Lassenberger (FP) traveled to Tulfes at the invitation of GR Gerald Depaoli (Just Innsbruck) to visit the new Tufles/Rinn recycling center. Mayor Martin Wegscheider visited the new recycling center. “When the state capital comes to us as a mini-municipality,” says Lord Mayor Wegscheider, “that is an honor for us.” At the individual stations, the municipal councilors found out about costs, details and planning.

Recy in Tulfes is a best practice example for Gerald Depaoli from Innsbrucker GR. “I’m overjoyed that we can finally show the skeptic that good things can be achieved with minimal effort and cost.” GR Depaoli cites the Tulfes/Rinn recycling center as an example.
recycling center in the west
The city of Innsbruck has been discussing the possibility of building a second recycling center in the west for a long time. They are currently in the planning phase and are looking for a suitable location. One site, Depaoli said, could be near Kranebitterhof or in the Pall nursery area, but these areas have yet to be explored. “In any case, it has to be in the west so that we can not only defuse traffic jams, but also the problem of air pollution.” “Now we only need the great funds to build a second recycling center in Innsbruck,” says Depaoli.
