AC Milan does not let go of Abdou Diallo
Landed in July 2019 from Borussia Dortmund against an envelope of 32 million euros, Abdou Diallo failed to win at Paris Saint-Germain. In the obligation to degrease with a target of 100 million euros to be reached with sales, Leonardo would not oppose a departure from the versatile 25-year-old defender.
Currently at the CAN with Senegal, the protege of Mauricio Pochettino is therefore not certain to end the season under the colors of PSG. Especially since AC Milan would be very interested in his profile. According to information from Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the Italian club is not letting go of the track leading to Abdou Diallo and has therefore received contacts with the Parisian leaders with a view to a transfer this winter. Still according to the same source, the Rossoneri would have a major asset in this case: the sports director of Paris SG in person.
Mercato PSG: Maldini wants to speak with Leonardo
In search of a reinforcement in central defense, AC Milan would like to secure the services of Abdou Diallo. According to Tuttosport, even if Manchester United defender Éric Bailly (27) is also on the shelves of the Milanese, the current 2nd in Serie A wants to complete this deal as part of a loan. Paulo Maldini, technical director of AC Milan, would therefore like to talk about it personally with his former collaborator Leonardo, head of recruitment for Paris Saint-Germain.
The former Italian glory would like to convince him to let Diallo slip away on loan to San Siro for the next six months. It remains to be seen whether the Brazilian leader will want to put his friendships before the interest of PSG. As a reminder, Abdou Diallo is linked to Paris SG until June 30, 2024 and Leonardo would like to complete his departure against a check of between 20 and 25 million euros.
