It is for a walk along the streets of the heart of the city of Avignon intramural that we invite Philippe Garcia over the days. And here we are in the rue des Marchands, with this marvelously retro facade where beautiful hats for ladies and gentlemen are on display, as well as accessories selected for their quality.
We are facing the Mouret millinery, taken over in 1923 by the grandmother of Vincent Mouret, whose husband devoted himself professionally to music. The Avignon institution is still there, admiring aesthetes who know how to appreciate the historic storefront.
Maison Mouret, in addition to hats and accessories, specializes in everything medals, badges honorary or military, flags, berets, caps, gloves. The listed shop is located 20 merchant street in Avignon. Even without going inside, it’s always a pleasure to admire the lit window from the street.
