On Monday morning, traffic was suspended on the Avtozavodskaya metro line due to the passage with a passenger.

MINSK, January 17 – Sputnik. On the way to the Proletarskaya metro station, a young man fell in front of an arriving train. He died on the spot.

Investigators are currently investigating what happened.

This morning the movement of the metro along the Avtozavodskaya line was stopped.

As the Investigative Committee later reported, a 26-year-old boy died under the train.

“The Leninsky (Minsk) regional department of the Investigative Committee is checking the fact of the fall of the guys on the morning of January 17 on the path of the Proletarskaya metro station in front of the arriving train.

Metro traffic has been restored. An investigative-operational group is working on the spot, video surveillance cameras are being viewed and eyewitnesses are being interviewed.

Unfortunately, it is normal for an emergency in the Minsk metro.

So, on November 28 last year, two events took place in the Minsk metro at once in a day – moreover, on different lines. In the case of detention, the movement also became a “passenger incident” – as a rule, the metro no longer gives any details.

The Minsk metro is open for passengers from 5:30 to 0:40. The length of the three subway lines that connect 33 stations is 40.82 kilometers. Of the 15 places, they occupy the first branch – the Moscow line, 14 – on the second (Avtozavodskaya) and four – on Zelenoluzhskaya.

More than 1,000 trains are used daily by three subway lines. The Minsk metro train moves at an average speed of 40.7 km/h (including stops).
