Warsaw: Long, one-way Hyundai with approval
The Warsaw tram reported that the second of the three. I’m talking about the long, one-way version. After pickup, it will be left for driving with passengers. Two-way trams will also increase in traffic soon.
At the turn of June and July, the first two trademarks arrived in Poland – in a two-way version, approx. 33 m long. The company has a vehicle type 140N approval, from December 14, 2021, the first (4201) wozir in regular linear traffic. Another vehicle soon hit the tracks.
– We are after 2500 km tests. While still the ride in history, when we checked with the passengers to see if we had ever checked, it was time, giving time before anything else had finished. Thanks to it, the manufacturer was able to optimize the tram’s software. Now, however, we are at a different stage of work with Hyundai. We started motor and trainer classes and ensured the availability of one car while driving. And because it allows us to pick up the railroad carriages, we will have employees prepared to run them. We assume that from this quarter we will be able to put 6-8 month-old wagons into service – says Maciej Dutkiewicz, spokesman for Tramwaje Warszawskie.
Soon the carts are expected to be increased. – Everything that will still be there is still going on, it would not be that we will still follow line 2 – we say Dutkiewicz.
Now, as on Friday (January 14), the Warsaw Trams informed about it, the vehicle in the advertised version, unidirectional, type 141N – approval. Now you are waiting, and then you are up to date with the traffic with passengers.
