Tracking survey: PS follows in the lead, Livre surpasses CDS-PP
Enough and Left Bloc rise in voting intentions, unlike the Liberal Initiative

In the daily poll by TVI/CNN, the PS remains in the lead, with 38.8%, a drop of only 0.1 percentage points compared to Friday. The PSD appears in second place, falling down by 0.4 percentage points to 29.3%.
It’s starting to pick up steam, up almost one percentage point from the last poll, to 7.8%. This Saturday, the Left Bloc also saw a more timid rise to 6.8%. The Liberal Initiative, on the other hand, drops 0.5 percentage points to 4.9%, while the CDU maintains the 4.6% registered on Friday.

As for the lesser parties, the PAN is below 2%, and Livre, with 1.5%, surpasses the CDS-PP, which registers 0.2 percentage points less than Rui Tavares’ party, in what would be a new historic low for the Christian Democrats.
TVI/CNN Portugal presents a new poll every day, which will allow the evolution of the way of voting and try to identify which themes are reflected in the voting intentions of the Portuguese.
The starting point is the last two barometers of Pitagórica for TVI/CNN Portugal, to which we now add a new sample daily that renews every day about a third of the universe under analysis. It is a technique known around the world as tracking poll.

For 4 days (January 11th to 14th, 2022) a sub-interviews of gender, age and region were collected daily by Pitagórica for TVI and CNN Portugal. The result of the calculation of the last 4 days of field work implies a sample of 608.0 maximum clearance6 which, for a confidence level of 95.5%, corresponds to a margin of error of ±4. A mobile report of selected numbers was randomly selected for the generation of “tele” selected numbers keeping a proportion of the 3 models selected by ANACOM, without requiring them to be randomly selected so that they are randomly selected through the plan model. The interviews are collected through a telephone interview (CATI – Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing). The study will evaluate the opinion of the parties’ campaign as well as objectives on related topics, namely the main intentions of moments. The response rate was 60.06% and the technical direction of the study is the responsibility of Rita Marques da Silva.
