FC Bayern Munich: After a shock diagnosis: 1st photo by Alphonso Davies – Bundesliga
Bayern defender Alphonso Davies (21) will be out for a long time due to heart muscle inflammation after a corona infection – how long exactly is still open.
Now Davies has spoken on Instagram for the first time after the shock diagnosis!
The Bayern star posted a photo of himself and wrote: “Thanks to everyone who has shown me so much love and support. I can’t wait to get back on the field and do what I love.”
Coach Julian Nagelsmann (34) spoke before the Munich game in Cologne on Sky about a downtime of “at least four weeks”. However, the period is “undetermined at first, the takeover is anything but good news.”
The Canadian is still doing “well, you don’t realize that,” said Nagelsmann. The diagnosis was made during detailed examinations after the full-back was infected with corona.
Nagelsmann continues: “There are very different statistics because you can’t say how quickly it heals. From at least four weeks to an indefinite time x, anything is possible.”
“It is important that we do the examinations, which we do very meticulously, in great detail,” said the coach, also with a view to the numerous corona cases in the Munich squad. “The important thing is that in terms of health, it is above all,” said the 34-year-old.
