“A voice for San Marino”, the 60 semi-finalists will be unveiled on Monday

We will still have to wait to find out the names of the 60 competitors who will enter the semifinal of “A voice for San Marino”. The jury decided to take additional time to better evaluate the classification, the final decision is postponed to Monday. We are moving towards the last phase, therefore, to decree the singer who will represent the Republic at Eurovision in Turin in May. The semifinalists will compete on the stage of the Titano Theater from 13 to 17 February. The calendar foresees for the following day, February 18th, the emerging final, while on the 19th there will be the final at the Teatro Nuovo di Dogana: the first nine rankings will challenge nine big Italians invited by Media Evolution for the occasion. At the moment there are seven jurors for the entire emerging artists phase and five for the grand final. The public is allowed for a fee on the evenings of 18 and 19 February and all the shows will be filmed and broadcast by San Marino RTV. In particular, the Grand Final will be broadcast live.
This leads to the most excited phase of the casting, with prizes up to 7 thousand euros. The selections closed on January 11 and saw the participation of 300 singers, with a total of 585 entries. Among them also the Alibi, a band from San Marino born in December 2014: “We have two songs from our latest album – brought they tell – ‘Borders of the world’, which are ‘Combaciare and’ Non ti perdonerò ‘. It is a unique experience, we are honored to do it in this theater “. There are many noteworthy singers who have performed, like João Paulo Ferreira And Miguel Berkemeier, his violinist, who have already participated in several contests in Europe: “We participated in other editions in Portugal to go to Eurovision – they confirm – and we did very well in 2017. For this contest we composed an original song and a cover of a Brazilian song “.
