Open schools and protests in Naples, the president of the Vico high school calls the police
Since Monday, secondary school students have been carrying out peaceful protests in every high school and institute in Naples through strikes and sit-ins outside the schools. A collective mobilization to request “serious and substantial investments in school construction and transport”.
This morning a sit-in began in front of the Vico high school but the boys were interrupted by the arrival of the police. The manager Clotilde Paisio, probably fearing the occupation of the building as happened last year, he called the police in advance. “They put their hands on a boy who protested outside with all of us and then closed the gates with chains” accuses the representatives of the Vico Collective who continue with the sit-in.
The students specify that they never went inside the school complex during the protest. The requests are always the same as a year ago: «An increase in transport and the creation of extraordinary routes of public transport, specific for students; Ffp2 student masks provided free of charge to the school and to the body; efficient sanitary facilities with ad hoc tampons for schools “.
