Toulouse: The ultraviolent journey of two teenage girls
Two young girls aged 16 and 17 tried to rob a tobacco shop and assaulted a motorist this Saturday in Toulouse.
They are only 16 and 17 years old but showed violent determination this Saturday in Toulouse. It all started around 7 p.m., at a tobacconist in the Capitol area. Face concealed, a young girl shows up in the tobacco shop. Hand in pocket, she makes her victim understand that she is armed and asks that she give him the cash register.
But the tobacconist does not let it go and the young girl ends up leaving, joining an accomplice who was waiting for her outside.
A little later, around 9 p.m., rue du Canon d’Arcole, a motorist was attacked in turn. While she is near the parking lot of the Palais des Sports, two young girls enter her car, provided with a knife. Menacingly, they are given their victim’s cell phone and wallet.
But the security guards of the Palais des Sports are keeping an eye on the grain and must control the hooded teenagers. One of them has time to make a phone call for help.
While the guards try to hold back, two young boys arrive. Armed with shards, they want to “liberate” the violent. A call to 17 signals what looks like a brawl and a rescue police crew intervenes very quickly. The two young girls and their accomplices, aged 16, were arrested and placed in police custody.
The police officers on duty began their investigation, in particular through the use of video surveillance images of the city. They understand that the assault on the motorist is not an isolated event and that adolescents are also the perpetrators of the attempted robbery. This Monday, they are still in police custody. One of the boys was left free.
