The daily number of coronavirus cases is increasing week by week
LJUBLJANA – The number of new daily cases of coronavirus in Slovenia was four times higher on Saturday than a week ago, at 3,349, according to data from the National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ). The test positivity rate exceeded 45%. According to the government, there are currently 537 patients with covid-19 in hospitals, one less than the day before, 161 of them in intensive care, five more than yesterday. Five patients died.
Kučan points out the signs of the revival of fascism
DRAŽGOŠE – A ceremony marking the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Dražgoše in the Second World War was held today, and the keynote speaker was former President Milan Kučan. LJUBLJANA – A public opinion poll conducted by Parsifal for the Planet TV commercial shows that the ruling Democrats (SDS) have the support of 31.9 percent of determined voters, which is 1.7 percentage points more than last month. In second place is the Robert Golob List with 12.6% support. Despite losing more than 7 percentage points, SD is in third place with 12%. In fourth place is the opposition Left, whose support fell from 9.2% to 9.1%. It is followed by the coalition Nova Slovenija (NSi) with 8.8%, which is a significant increase from 4.8% last month.
