“It’s funny how the world looks so different from a van,” I tell Midas.
He doesn’t answer, pay attention to the road where the pressure is from all the Dutch who want to shop in Belgium. We are going to Brussels to bring paintings by Agaath to a gallery owner friend. Midas almost never car and eighty kilometers per hour fast enough. It does not matter to me. Next to me on the couch is a bag full of tasty sandwiches, we have a thermos full of black coffee, listen to a Belgian channel with old hits. “Maybe we can rent a van this summer and see where we ended up.”
With a Flemish accent he answers: ‘That costs a lot of people.’ I look at him in surprise. ‘Don’t you know what that means? That is very expensive.’ We talk about the few years he lived with Ageeth in Brussels, about school uniforms, and the man she was dating at the time. “But that wasn’t your father, was it?”
“I don’t think Ageeth even knows who that is.” He says it’s the most normal thing in the world, and yet I suspect a large bruise on his soul. My father has many things to say about it, but all I have to do is call to have him put up a shelf and he arrives with his toolbox.
We almost drive through Brussels, on small roads with shiny cobblestones and intersections that lead to six roads. Midas grips the steering wheel so tight that his knuckles are white, I tell the route planner what to start and don’t try, “Watch out!” at.
Twenty minutes later Midas caught the bus in a courtyard. The gallery owner, a fat man with black glasses, immediately rushes out, hugs Midas, hugs me and fires one after the other at us. We unload the paintings and then he shows us the room where we will spend the night. ‘Just freshen up, we’ll have dinner in an hour. Raoul is cooking wonderfully.’ He points out where the bathroom is, gives some clean towels and then leaves us alone.

Kiki Faber #22: ‘He had painted me naked on a very large canvas and I thought it was terrible’
I sit on the huge bed and look around. Lots of pink, lots of dark wood, the curtains are burgundy and there are paintings of handsome naked men everywhere. have different sex. Exciting though, and I start giggling. “What’s so fun?” Midas puts his hand on my neck and kisses me. First tender, then. “I love you,” he whispers.
“Me too.” We undress and lie next to each other in bed, caressing, kissing. I grab his penis and rub it until it shines with pre-cum. Then take zoom in my mouth, very slowly. I pick up the pace and when I feel him approaching, I slow down again. Until I can’t take it anymore. I sit on him and ride him. And it’s also all the men in the paintings looking at us.
