FC Wacker Innsbruck terminates the contract with Okan Aydin by mutual agreement. His contract would have run until next summer. to die The next stop of the attacking midfielder is not yet known.

Okan Aydin (* May 8th, 1994) comes from the young footballers of the German Bundesliga club Bayer 04 Leverkusen. After appearances in the top German league and the Europa League, he moved to Turkey to Eskisehirspor. After his return to Germany, he played for Rot Weiß Erfurt, Chemnitz and Viktoria Berlin before the U-17 Vice European Champion of 2011 moved to Austria to Austria Klagenfurt. Then a transfer to China failed and Aydin switched to FC Wacker Innsbruck last winter. He played 32 games for the traditional Tyrolean club and was able to score seven goals and prepare four more.

Nevertheless, we complied with the player’s request and agreed to terminate the contract prematurely and to go further in the future. We wish him all the best for his sporting and private future! For us, the termination of the contract is a further component of the ongoing savings measures. “

“I am very grateful to FC Wacker Innsbruck for the past year, in which I was able to take a lot of impressions and experiences with me for my further career. Unfortunately, in autumn we were unable to follow up on the performances shown in spring and achieve the desired success. I have decided to look for a new sporting challenge and to ask the club to terminate my contract early. Nevertheless, I would like to thank everyone in the club for the time we spent together and wish them all the best! “
