They built a recreation area for tourists in the middle of the forest. It is located near Slovakia, its visit is worth it
There are more and more lookout towers, but only some of them will take your breath away. An example is the lookout located in the Protected Landscape Area of the Beskydy Mountains in the eastern part of the cadastre of the village Horní Bečva. The architects from the studio are behind the view henkai architects.
The architects’ goal was to make the hills accessible to hikers. At the same time, the lookout develops and complements the narrower quality of the surrounding nature and the nearby village.
The top of the hill can be reached via three scenic trails. These perfectly connect the main body of the views and create a circular path. This road is connected to a nearby road, as well as the adjacent parking lot, located in front of the quarry.

The visitor can choose whether to choose a milder or steeper route. The steeper one leads a short distance behind the quarry crown and in its upper part there is a metal observation bridge. The visitor can relax on the lookout, but at the same time can enjoy the unique view of the quarry wall.

The milder route is surrounded by a newly planted forest with a mixture of local tree species. A small lookout picnic area awaits visitors on the saddle below the rocky peak. There are also walls for seating. From this side there is a view of the Bečva valley.

The destination that awaits tourists is the top of the hill. There are three sightseeing objects. These are sensitive found in the existing terrain modeling between the rocks. The purpose of this place is to provide tourists and relax.

Where in Slovakia?
If you don’t want to go beyond it, but you would still like to enjoy the beautiful view, don’t despair. Slovakia also offers several lookout towers, which are worth a visit.
For example, the people of Bratislava have within reach the lookout tower on Devínská mare. The architects from the studio stand behind her Šebo Odd. It is 21 meters high, roughly like a seven-storey building, has 112 steps and is located at a height of 514 meters above sea level at the intersection of hiking trails.
The Čerešenka tourist lookout tower is also worth a visit. It is interesting that its basis has a historical origin. From the top of this unique tower you can see the valley of the river Torysa and part of the Volovské vrchy with Kojšovská hoľa. If you visit the chance in good weather, you should also see Lomnický štít.
As the portal states KE Tourist, the tower is located about 15 kilometers from Kosice and is about 12 meters high.
The popular Bojnice, which people visit mainly because of the beautiful castle and zoo, also have a view. According to the web Slovak traveler from it you can see the whole of Bojnice, Prievidza and the surrounding nature.
The lookout was built in 2018 and its height is 30 meters.
