From Naples the Epiphany Concert
“Education, work, dialogue between generations: paths for peace” this is the title that contains the themes declined in music of the twenty-seventh edition of the Epiphany Concert, the traditional musical event scheduled for Tuesday 4 January 2022 at the Mediterranean Theater in Naples, and which will be broadcast, as usual, on the second evening of Thursday 6 January 2022, at 11.30 pm on Rai 1, immediately after the special “Lotteria Italia” edition of I soliti ignoti.
The conduct of the event will be entrusted, for the second consecutive year, to Arianna Ciampoli, well-known face of several successful television and radio programs. All the artists will perform live on the stage of the Mediterranean Theater of Naples and will be accompanied by the great Neapolitan Orchestra of Santa Chiara, conducted by Maestro Adriano Pennino.
The cast of this edition is a great evening of music and cultural dialogue between different musical genres with the participation of the accordionist Pietro Adragna, Eugenio Bennato, the guitarist Francesco Buzzurro, Giovanni Caccamo, Federica Carta, Sal Da Vinci, Gianfranco Gallo, the rapper Ghemon, Raphael Gualazzi, the Portuguese fadist Teresinha Landeiro, Simona Molinari, Pietra Montecorvino, Morgan and, directly from the successes of XFactor Romania, the Neapolitan band I Super 4.
The Epiphany Concert is conceived and celebrated by the Oltre il Chiostro non-profit association, chaired by Giuseppe Reale, author of the musical event, and produced for Rai by Dante Mariti’s Melos International, together with the Musica dal Mondo Association, which the entire organization of the event, whose artistic direction is by Francesco Sorrentino. The event enjoys the patronage of the Presidency of the Campania Region, the Metropolitan City of Naples and the Municipality of Naples.
