RTP accompanied by Portugal at the European Handball Championship 2022
ONE RTP will broadcast all the games from European Handball Championship 2022, which takes place from January 13th to 30th in Hungary and Slovakia. The 65 matches of the competition will be broadcast on the RTP2 and on RTP Play.
The European will be broadcast in different spaces, with the channels connected in Sport gives RTP Play to receive the full transmission of the test. ONE RTP2 will broadcast live, mainly, the games of the National Team with narration and comments. Through the internet, all other tests of the EHF Euro 2022, available at RTP Play exclusively for national territory.
a premiere of Portugal in the competition takes place on January 14th, Friday, at 7:30 pm, against Iceland. On January 16, the face-to-face is with Hungary, at 17:00. On January 18, he faces the Netherlands, at 7:30 pm. All games are broadcast on the second public channel and on the tab sport 1 gives RTP Play.

In 2020, Portugal achieved a historic sixth place in the competition, but the race was not broadcast on open channel. At the time, the RTP waived its transmission, ensured by the channels SportTV.
