Free debt advice and accompaniment in private bankruptcy for private individuals residing in Liechtenstein
As part of the reform of Liechtenstein insolvency law, a possibility of discharging residual debts was created for private individuals or so-called private bankruptcy. The corresponding amendments to the law will come into force on January 1, 2022. The aim of personal bankruptcy is to give motivated debtors a realistic chance of a new economic start.
Personal bankruptcy with its various possibilities requires professional advice and support from a suitable debt advice center. With the BSB Hand in Hand Foundation, a suitable institution could be found which has already offered free budget and debt advice for people in Liechtenstein who may be in need.
On the basis of the service agreement concluded with the Office for Social Services, the BSB Hand in Hand Foundation will offer its support, advice and accompaniment in private bankruptcy on behalf of the state from January 1, 2022. The offer is free and is aimed at all natural persons domiciled in Germany who need support with financial questions or who are indebted or over-indebted.
