Covid: victim number 100 in San Marino, he was 56 years old
A 56-year-old man is the number 100 victim of covid in the Republic of San Marino. An 86-year-old has also taken his life for the virus in recent days. Both were admitted to the State Hospital.
ISS data updated at midnight yesterday 30 December: the total number of infected people identified since the beginning of the pandemic until midnight yesterday is 8,202 of which: 1,020 active positives (average age 39 years, 515 and 505 are males ), 100 deaths and 7,082 recoveries.
There are 26 people admitted to the hospital: 20 in isolation rooms and 6 in the Intensive Care Unit where at the moment the six Covid positive patients are all people who have never been vaccinated against SARS-CoV-2. 994 people in isolation are followed at home, while 328 people are in home quarantine.
The total swabs performed were 105,844, of which 29,214 on individuals.
Anti-COVID vaccination campaign
The total number of vaccinations registered in San Marino from the beginning of the Campaign until yesterday is 59,929 of which 23,574 people vaccinated with the first dose and 25,555 with the second dose or with the single dose.
51.3% of the vaccinated are female and 48.7% are male.
84.41% of the resident vaccinable population completed the primary immunization cycle.
10,800 people received the booster dose, equal to 38.26% of the resident vaccinable population.
