“10” in Athens 9. 84 and the Athens Culture Net!
10 actors – 10 bookstores – 10 readings – 10 broadcasts

Today, Wednesday, December 29, Themis Bazaka reads “The Christmas Poems”

The Municipality of Athens, through Athens 9.84 and the Athens Culture Net, invites 10 well-known actors to 10 readings, through 10 bookstores for 10 radio broadcasts!

In these -free ticket- journeys of the mind, ten loved ones of the theater, read 10 great texts and selected thematic sections for Christmas in 10 bookstores located in the center of Athens and, with great pleasure, accepted our proposal.

Filareti Komninou made the start and was followed by Thalia Matika, Dimos Avdeliodis, Giannis Bostantzoglou.

On Wednesday, December 29, Themis Bazaka reads “The Christmas Poems”, a Christmas poem of joy, emotion, loneliness and sadness at the Homeless Bookstore (Gravias 9-13, Exarchia)

On Thursday, December 30, Myrto Alikaki reads the fairy tales and children’s stories “The Snowman and the Girl” by Eugenios Trivizas (Kedros Publications), “The little girl with the matches” by H.K. Andersen (Kaleidoscope Publications) and “Those Christmas that came Down” by Maria Papagianni (Pataki Publications), at the bookstore “The Cat Mauritius” (10-12 Efroniou, Pagrati, Athens)

The baton is then taken by Makis Papadimitriou, Katerina Lechou, Michalis Oikonomou and Manolis Mavromatakis, who undertake to lead us to small and large book houses and give us as a gift these “big” but also small, in duration, readings. In the center of Athens. They started shortly before Christmas and continue shortly after New Year.

⦁ The Tuesday, January 4, Makis Papadimitriou reads vignettes for Christmas written by: Ioannis Kondylakis, Pavlos Nirvana, Costas Varnalis, Grigorios Xenopoulos and Manos Hadjidakis in the Enastron bookstore (Solonos 101)

⦁ The Wednesday 5 January the Katerina lechou reads Excerpts from Jane Austen’s “Emma.” (Smili Publications), at “On Word” bookstore (Academy 32)

⦁ The Friday 7 January The Michalis Oikonomou reads Excerpts from “The Christmas of Hercule Poirot” by Agatha Christie (Psychogios Publications) at Atrapos bookstore(Iakovidou 7, K. Patisia)

⦁ The Monday, January 10, Manolis Mavromatakis reads Excerpt from “Letters to Santa Claus” by J. R. R. Tolkien (Aeolos Publications) at “Fotagogos” Bookstore (Kolokotroni 59B, Stoa Kourtaki)
