Event promoted by the Corporate University of the Commercial Association of Pará (ACP), from Brazil, brought together businesspeople who discussed business opportunities in Portugal, in virtual format, on November 22nd.

This initiative had the participation of Jorge Portugal, president of the Association of Supermarkets (ASPAS), Sebastião Campos, president of the Federation of Commerce of Pará (FECOMERCIO) and the Deliberative Council of SEBRAE / PA, in addition to having the support the Federation of Portuguese Chambers of Commerce in Brazil, the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce in Brazil / Pará, the Federation of Commerce in Pará, the Paraense Association of Supermarkets (ASPAS), the vice-consulate of Portugal in Pará and other partner entities.

According to Reginaldo Ferreira, director of the ACP Corporate University and president of the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce in Brazil / Pará, this opportunity was the opportunity for anyone who wants to undertake and invest in this European country.

“In a competitive world like ours, those who inform the market about their products, advantages and benefits have more opportunities. Therefore, we believe that it is extremely important to pass on information about Portugal and the existing business opportunities ”, said Ferreira.

The event brought together around 300 participants and, according to its organization, “It met the organizers’ expectations because it directly involved two entities that bring together a large part of the businessmen interested in pertinent matters, the Federation of Commerce of Pará and the Association of Supermarkets in Pará”.

“Following this event, we should present a plan that will provide greater knowledge about Portugal and its opportunities, with a possible trip to Portugal to visit important events. The date will be set according to the availability of the agenda available by the entities ”, said Ferreira.

Also during the meeting, the tourism segment was addressed as of “Great business possibility for Portugal and which will be dealt with by the group, with the inclusion of new partners in nearby opportunities”.
