Monaco crushes Fos-sur-Mer and revives

This Sunday, during the 14th day of Betclic Elite, Monaco regaled by going largely to win in Fos-sur-Mer (56-94) and revive after three defeats in a row.
Obviously, the players of Sasa Obradovic have digested the holidays well. Indeed, while Monaco remained on three defeats in a row in all competitions, the Principality’s club set the record straight by largely dominating Fos-sur-Mer this Sunday evening (56-94). During the first match of the 14th day of Betclic Elite, the “Roca Team” left no chance for Provençaux, no decrease by the coronavirus, and found a little smile after the last sporting complicated weeks. For this, the visitors hit hard from the start with six three-point shots to start and make an interesting first gap from the first minutes (4-18). If the gap rose to +19 in the first quarter, the Fosséens were able to react and come back to three lengths at the start of the second (22-25), thanks to a 16-0. Unfortunately for them, the second act looked like a recital with a scathing 24-7 on arrival for Monaco and therefore a 25 point delay at the break for overwhelmed locals (24-49).
A success that does good for Monaco
After half-time, the rest of the meeting was the same event with Monegasques above and a gap that exceeded 40 points in the last moments to finish at +38 in their favor. For this, Paris Lee (24 points, 5 of 8 three-point, and 6 assists) was particularly in sight, while four other teammates also reached at least the ten units mark, namely Brock Motum (17), Yakuba Ouattara (14), Donta Hall (12) and Rudy Demahis-Ballou (10). Also note the return of Léo Westermann (8 points and 6 assists), after a month of absence. Thanks to this first away success since October 24, the “Roca Team” has assured and will try to finish 2021 in the last game of the year against Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Euroleague (December 29). On the other hand, for Rémi Giuitta’s team, the party turned into a fiasco at the Palais des Sports in Marseille. Next meeting for the “Byers”, January 8 against Bourg-en-Bresse, a direct competitor for the maintenance of Betclic Elite.
