Serious solar power plant construction can start in Hungary – Napi.hu
Already in 2022, EDP Renewables’ new solar power plant project started in Hungary: the purchase price was agreed with the system operator at the level of 42.5 euros / MWh for 15 years. Production is expected to start in the last quarter of 2023 – said the company.

EDPR confirms its growth strategy in Hungary and has reached 75 MW in this market. The company entered the country last February with a 15-year CfD to sell energy produced by another 50 MW solar PV project. The total investment amount of the project called Nyírség PV has not been announced yet.
The company’s success in obtaining new long-term plans has strengthened its contract risk profile and growth strategy for competitive projects with long-term improvements.
