On May 7, Zug had made the second title in club history perfect with a 5-1 win over Geneva-Servette. 230 days later and in the third attempt, the guest from Geneva managed to get the longed-for revenge with the same result and the same location. Thanks to the third win in a row, Servette displaces Ambri from 10th place and is back on a pre-playoff place.

The game was already decided after 40 minutes. The Geneva team deservedly led 4: 1 and have practically nothing to do with weak Zugers. At the latest when Valtteri Filppula scored 5: 1 in the 45th minute, even the most daring optimists among the 6624 spectators in the Zug ice rink came to terms with the defeat.
