Until Friday, the companions of taste, network of 585 artisan butchers and delicatessens selected among the best in France, meet in store to discover their solidarity object, namely a Christmas ball garnished with papillotes sold for € 3, entirely donated to the Association Petits Princes. A useful and gourmet gift to help make the dreams of sick children come true.
To make the dreams of sick children come true
The Little Princes Association make dreams come true for seriously ill children and adolescents. Because a child who lives his passions and realizes his dreams is a child who finds a surplus of energy to face the disease.
The medical staff of the 150 hospital departments with which the Association des Petits Princes collaborates on a daily basis confirm that the dream helps their little patients to feel better emotionally, and sometimes even physically.
This association is the only association in France to make several dreams come true for the same child, depending on the evolution of his pathology. For 34 years, more than 7,900 dreams have been realized in this way.
A companion of taste for 16 years
Since 1997, the Compagnons du Taste have established themselves as the benchmark for good taste within the profession of butchers and delicatessens. In addition to a sign of recognition, being a Companion of taste is above all the commitment to share the same state of mind and of respect a quality charter, otherwise we cannot stay in the network.
Companion of Taste for 16 years now, the butcher Havard, located in the village of Querqueville, is participating for the third year in this solidarity initiative by selling the famous garnished Christmas balls.
An action that Nicolas and Severine Havard will have the pleasure of continuing through the expansion of their establishment. They are also the only ones in Cherbourg-en-Cotentin to participate in this solidarity action.
More info: the Havard butcher, 43, rue Roger-Glinel, on 02 33 03 56 63. Christmas balls in favor of the Association Petits Princes are sold at a price of € 3 per unit.
